Early witnesses of the risen Jesus were women. This happened despite - or because - they were not seen as legally competent witnesses. Such This in turn shows us that to believe in the Resurrection we must rely on our own experience and not just get carried away by the comments of others. This is the precondition to faith and vision of the things that are beyond our senses.
